« on: February 13, 2013, 09:16:32 AM »
Is it possible to remove complete drive shaft by disconnecting from gearbox end without having to release ball joints etc?

The O/S one can be removed like that, steering needs to be on full R/H lock.
The N/S you will need to release the ball joint.

Both sides can be done without disturbing the ball joints but the N/S will only come out one way and finding that angle and position was more work then just separating the joint!

Changed o/s drive shaft under an hour to do. Cost of replacement only £33 online with 2 year warranty. Thanks for input  ;)
