Galaxy and S-Max seat compatibility
« on: March 10, 2021, 01:09:44 PM »
Hi all,

I recently bought a lovely 2011 Galaxy 2.2 TDCi auto TitanuimX as an upgrade from our 2008 S-Max 2.0 TDCi auto Titanium. I am delighted with the new car except for one thing. The driver's seat! The Galaxy has leather seats (S-Max had cloth), and whilst that may not be the issue, I cant seem to get comfortable at all. They look very similar, but I find the Galaxy seats to be less supportive and not nearly as good as my old cloth seat. Not being able to find the idea seating position is souring an otherwise great purchase. Has anyone else experienced this?

So I guess this leads me to a crucial question...are the S-Max and Galaxy drivers seats interchangeable?

If so, I'm considering swapping an S-Max seat for the Galaxy's drivers seat (I like the look of the S-Max Titanium X Sports seats but have no idea of they are as comfy as the regular cloth seats in my old S-max)

Any ideas welcome...
