Hi all I have a 2010 vw sharan with 215/60/r16 on I would like to get a space saver wheel for her but for all I have 16” alloys am being told that 16” might work but 18” would be better because of break callipers any help please just want to have a spare, thanks

think the reason they are suggesting an 18" wheel is,afaik there isnt a space saver for you model.you also have to think on where you are going to be keeping it?
there wasnt 1 for my smax either so i obtained an 18" wheel exactley the same as my alloys and used to fold a rear seat down and strap it to the back of the middle seat.

Cheers would only put in rear for longer journey otherwise leave in the garage so someone can get it to me

I looked into this and was told the space saver wheels cant take the weight of the sharan :(

Sharan weights 1703-1800kg
Galaxy weights 1708-1841kg
Guess which one lists a steel miniwheel as standard across all specs?
